How to set up call forwarding on office phones:

Summary

This is a guide for end users to set up call forwarding on their office phones. This should allow them to answer calls to their work phone from their cell phone or another phone.

Body

You can have incoming calls sent to another phone by setting up call forwarding.

If you are near your desk phone:

  • Press the button for “Forward All” on the office phone
  • The phone will beep twice
  • Dial 91, then enter in the phone number a user would like to forward calls to
  • The phone will beep once
  • Make a test call to the office phone
  • If successful, the phone should now be able to forward calls to the selected device.

If you are not near your desk phone you can still set up forwarding using the Cisco Self Care Portal. Click HERE for instructions.

You should test the call forwarding after you set it up. From neither your deskphone or the phone you are forwarding to, Call your office number.  If the phone says “The call cannot be completed as dialed”, check your settings to make sure the number you set is correct, then contact the help desk.
