Pulse Secure Installation (Windows)

How to set up and use the Pulse Secure VPN client for Employees.

Here are the steps to install Pulse Secure for Windows.  For Mac instructions please click this link:  Pulse Secure for Mac

1.  Go to the following website and log in using your Portal username and password.  The “Realm” should automatically be set to “Employee”. If not, please select “Employee”.

*If you’re unable to reach the website in your current browser, try using a different browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Edge. If you are on a Mac, you can also use the Mac version of these browsers or Safari.

2.  Click the “Start” button which is located on the bottom right.

3.  Click "Download".

           

4.  Follow the on-screen instructions.  Note that you will not have to click “Run” after clicking on the software that you just downloaded.

5.  After the installation is complete, you should get a message stating that Pulse Secure has been installed successfully.  Click “OK”.

6.  On the Pulse Secure main page click on "Open URL-Pulse Application Launcher".

7.  On the bottom right of your screen in the system tray you will see an “S” icon with a green arrow pointing up.  Click the icon.

 

 

 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

8.  Pulse Secure will automatically log you in.  If you have to log in manually, use your Portal username and password.  If you see a green check mark under “Connections” this means you are connected to the network through the TSTC VPN.
