Step 1. Take phone call and gather information from campus provost.
Step 2 Go To - https:\\manager.everbridge.net
Step 3. Select New Notification
(check for message templates)
Step 3 Mark - HIGH PRIORITY box
Step 4. Title of message - This message is for TSTC in XXXX. (Spell out campuses)
Step 5. Craft message - This message is for TSTC in West Texas. Due to weather conditions, the Abilene, Breckenridge, Brownwood and Sweetwater campuses will be closed on Friday, February 4 for in-person learning. Remote work and online classes will continue as scheduled.
(Make sure you have all the information needed, dates times, locations for the message from the provost)
Step 6. Go to Contacts and find Groups make pertinent groups to receive message.
a. EOC
b. ICP of (campus)
c. Statewide of (campus)
d. Strat Comm
e. Vice Chancellors
f. Campus - 3rd Party
Step 7. - Go to Contacts and find Rules
(ask provost which category to mark.
a. askā¦students and employees
b. Students only
c. Employees only
Step 8. - If it is WTX, ask Andy Weaver, which WTX Campus impacted and do we include or exclude ATEMS.
Step 9. - Copy message for use on social media.
Step 10 - Hit SEND
Step 11. - send copied message to:
a. April and communicator for that campus for posting to social media
b. Send message (by email and chat) to Maria and Fredrick for posting to TSTC homepage.
c. Let Brad know. He will inform Maria and Nick.
Step 12. - Write media advisory based on ENS message. (Communicators will send to the press)
Step 13. - Inform effected provost that ENS has been disseminated.
Step 14 - Set timer for 1.5hrs. Check and send stats to Chris Martin and provost.
