Description

Our aim is to implement a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment to enhance flexibility and resource utilization within our organization. By deploying thin clients, we will ensure that students have seamless access to the specific software and resources required for their programs, regardless of their physical location. This initiative is anticipated to generate significant cost savings by reducing the necessity for individual desktop setups and enabling more efficient allocation of computing resources. Furthermore, the centralized nature of VDI will simplify management and maintenance tasks for our IT staff, allowing for updates and software installations to be conducted centrally, thereby minimizing downtime and streamlining operations.

Goals

  1. Collaboratively work with IT and or other divisions to implement new services or redesign current solutions to meet our business line evolving needs.

  2. Standardize solutions skillset to increase support, service availability, and decrease delivery time for new services for our business line revenue centers
