Add a bookmark

On your computer, open Chrome.

Go to the site you want to visit again in the future.

To the right of the address bar, click Star.

Find a bookmark

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click
  3. Find and click a bookmark.

Tip: You can open bookmarks faster with the bookmarks bar. You’ll find your bookmarks under the address bar. Click a bookmark to open it.

Find a lost bookmark

Deleted bookmarks can't be recovered. If your bookmark is missing for another reason, try the tips below.

 

Step 1: Sign in to Chrome

If you synced your bookmarks to your Google Account, make sure you're signed in to Chrome:

To Sign in to Chrome:

On your computer, open Chrome.

In the top right, click the name or People People.

Click Sign in to Chrome.

Sign in with your Google Account where you saved the bookmark.

 

Step 2: Show the bookmarks bar

If you usually use the bookmarks bar, make sure it isn't hidden:

On your computer, open Chrome.

At the top right, click More and then Bookmarks and then Show Bookmarks Bar.

 

Step 3: Check your bookmark folders

New bookmarks are saved to the last bookmark folder where you saved a bookmark. Check all your bookmark folders:

On your computer, open Chrome.

At the top right, click More and then Bookmarks and then Bookmark Manager.

 

On the left, open each folder and look for your bookmark.
