How to Request Informer Access

 

  • First, log into the Portal and under Request choose Informer.

 

 

 

  • Next, the Informer Google Form will appear and user need to fill out all required information. Also, after filling in the last option, there is a description of what SPI information relates to.You will need to know this before filling out the nexy page and also are required to take the SPI (Sensitive Personal Information) Training in Moodle.

 

 

 

 

  • Next you will choose the options needed in in Informer for Student Data, SPI or non SPI. If no access to Student Data is needed, leave blank and click next.

 

 

  • Next you will choose the options needed in in Informer for HR Data, SPI or non SPI. If no access to HR Data is needed, leave blank and click next.

 

  • And lastly, is Financial Data, you will choose the options needed in in Informer for FinancialData, SPI or non SPI. If no access to Financial Data is needed, leave blank and click next.

 

 

  • Once you have choosen the options needed, please fill out the reason you are requesting the accesses that you chose and if needing access to SPI data in any of those areas, why you need that access and click Submit.

 

  • After the course in Moodle has been completed, your Supervisor has approved then you will be able to log into Informer by going to Portal, Applications and choosing Informer. The username and password are the same as Webadvisor. 

 

 

 

**Note**  If you requested SPI data in any of the 3 areas, then the Data Owner of that Area will also have to give approval before you have access to any reports with SPI data in that particular area.
