Student Self-Service Password Reset Guide

For easier authentication, consider enrolling an authenticator using the steps HERE.

If you need to reset your password, follow these simple steps to use the Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) feature. If you've forgotten your username. Please contact helpdesk @ 1-800-592-8784.

1. Navigate to reset.tstc.edu.

2.  When prompted, enter your TSTC OneID in this format "OneID@mymail.tstc.edu" Make sure to complete any captcha requirement and hit "Next". If you are a new applicant and do not have access to a TSTC email, simply find the TSTC OneID that was emailed to your personal email shortly after you submitted your application, then add @mymail.tstc.edu to the end of it. 

3.  You will be asked to verify your account by first entering your full phone number on file, this will be set to the phone number used on your application to TSTC. If the number you entered matches exactly, you will be prompted with a code to verify, you can select from either call or text options.

4. After verification you should be able to change your password. Please make sure that the password entered meets our current Password requirements:

  • At least 14 characters
  • A lowercase letter
  • An uppercase letter
  • A number
  • A symbol
  • No parts of your user-name
  • Does not include your first name
  • Does not include your last name
  • Your password cannot be any of your last 10 password(s)

5. You may return to https://login.tstc.edu to use your new password
