TSTC Digital Business Cards

TSTC is providing all employees with a digital business card through Haystack Digital Business card.

The Haystack Digital Business Card is a mobile application available on both iOS and Android platforms. It will allow you to create and manage digital business cards, which can be shared instantly with others. These virtual cards contain contact details, professional information, and even links to social media profiles or websites.

What do you need to do to get started?

  1. Download the Haystack app and create your personal account. 
    1. Download the App: Visit the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and search for "Haystack Digital Business Card." Download and install the app on your mobile device.
    2. Launch the app and create a new account

Claiming Your TSTC Digital Business Card From the Invitation

When your card is created you will receive an invitation from Haystack.

  1. Click the Activate my Card button
  2. You will then see your card and details. You can edit your name if it is incorrect and you can add your mobile number if you want but it is not necessary
  3. If you see any incorrect information, contact the Help Desk and they can update that information in Workday for you
  4. Accept the terms and conditions and Save and Continue

Claiming your card from the Haystack App

If you already have a Haystack account and the app downloaded, you can add your card to the app by following these steps.

  1. In the main screen of the app (where you see the list of cards) tap the '+' symbol below the 'search box'
  2. Enter your TSTC email address in the firstname.lastname@tstc.edu format. 
  3. The app will look for matches to your email address. 
  4. When found, you will see your card, verify your name and title and click Continue
  5. You will receive an email to verify that you are claiming the correct card. 
  6. Once you receive your email, click the link to verify your card
  7. Your card should show when you go back to the Haystack app.
  8. Note: If your card still appears unverified in the app, try refreshing by pulling down from your device's screen.

Sharing your Card

Haystack provides multiple ways to share your card. You can use any of the following methods:

  • QR Code: Display your card's QR code on your device's screen, allowing others to scan it using their Haystack app to instantly save your contact details.
  • Share via Email: Tap the "Share" button within the app and choose the email option. Enter the recipient's email address, add a personalized message if desired, and send your card as an email attachment.
  • Share via Text Message: Select the text message option, enter the recipient's phone number, and send your digital business card directly to their mobile device as a text message.
  • Share via Social Media: Haystack allows you to share your card through popular social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook. Choose the desired platform, log in to your account (if required), and share your card with your network.
  • Direct Contact: You can also hand your phone to someone, allowing them to view and save your card directly from your Haystack app.
