If you have forgotten your OneID password and need to reset it. You can do it using the OneID Self Service Password Reset (SSPR) option.
In order to use OneID's SSPR you will need:
If you do not have this information, you will need to contact the OIT Help Desk for assistance.
- Go to the OneID log in page and click on Need help signing in?
- Click on Forgot Password
- Enter your username and select an option for password reset
- Selecting SMS or Voicecall will send you a code that you will need to copy into the provided space
- If you don't receive a code, you can click on Didn't receive a code? Reset via email link. This will send a link to your Secondary email address
- Selecting Reset via Email will send you a link to your secondary email address. If you do not have this set up, you will need to contact the Help desk for a Password reset
- After clicking the link from the email or entering the code from SMS or voice call, you will then be prompted to answer your security question you selected when you first activated your account.
- Click on Reset password
- You will then be prompted to enter a new password.
Password requirements:
- At least 14 characters
- A lowercase letter
- An uppercase letter
- A number
- A symbol
- No parts of your username
- Does not include your first name
- Does not include your last name
- Your password cannot be any of your last 10 password(s)
