How to Update Your Secondary Email Address in Workday

Self Service Password resets will send an email to your Secondary email address. Follow these directions to verify you have a secondary email address set up in Workday.

  1. Click on the Profile icon/photo on your Homepage.
  2. In the pop-up that appears, click View Profile
  3. After your Profile has loaded, click the Contact* option on the left side of your screen. After clicking Contact, the right side of your screen will populate with your contact information.
    *If you do not see Contact, click the More (#) link or scroll to see more hidden options.
  4. Click on the Edit button to edit your contact information
  5. Scroll down to the Email section
  6. Click the Edit icon to change existing information or Click the Add icon if you do not have an email listed.
  7. Enter your personal email address
  8. Click the Save icon to save your changes.
  9. After you have updated your email address, at the bottom of your screen you can Submit your changes, Save for Later to continue working on the edits at another time, or Cancel to clear any changes you’ve made.
