Licensed Office 365 Account for Students

There are some classes that require students to have an Office 365 license assigned to them. This license includes installation on up to 5 computers or laptops and 5 mobile devices. You must be signed into to your Microsoft account in order to download the software.

If your instructor has requested that you have a licensed account, you will receive an email to your TSTC Mymail account from Microsoft or your instructor will give you log in instructions.

Accessing Office.com

Log in at Office.com using your username@O365.tstc.edu user name and the password you received either from an email or your instructor.

If you can not log in or need your password reset, you can contact the Help Desk for assistance.

Download Office Apps

You can download and install Office apps on up to 5 computers or laptops and 5 mobile devices. Once you log in to Office Online, You will see the Install Office link on the home page.  Follow the prompts to install.

Download Software from Azure Portal

With your license you will be able to download an install software such as Microsoft Server and Windows 10 for use for your classes. To get to the available downloads you will need to register and sign in to Azure portal.

  1. Go To the Azure Portal
     
  2. Sign in with your O365 account

  3. Click on Education.
    If you do not see it at first click the search bar at the top of the page and type in Education.

     
  4. Select Software on the right hand side of the window.
     
  5. If you only see 5 items and have a purple banner across the top will you need to register for Azure.
    Click the banner and follow the prompts to register.
     
  6. Once you have registered go back to Education in the Azure portal and you should now see the software you need.
