How to forward your phone from the self care portal

***** You can do this from anywhere as long as you are connected to Pulse Secure VPN. *****

This is how to forward to an outside line such as a cell phone or home phone. 

  1.  go to https://ucm01.tstc.edu/ucmuser/
  2. Login with your 1ID credentials (portal)
  3. once logged in click on call forwarding
  4. click the tick box next to "Forward all calls to:"
  5. Click the drop down box and select  "Add a new number"
  6. enter the number you wish to forward to
    1. Keep in mind this is like you are at work. so you will need to place a (7+1+phone number) that you are forwarding to.
      1. 7 for outside line (This is required for the system to be able to forward to an outside line)
      2. 1 for long distance (this is not needed if the number you are forwarding to is not long distance
    2. should look something like this in the box 71xxxXXXxxxx
  7. click the save button
  8. close the self care portal

For forwarding to another employee follow these instructions:

  1.  go to https://ucm01.tstc.edu/ucmuser/
  2. Login with your 1ID credentials (portal)
  3. once logged in click on call forwarding
  4.   Click the drop down box and select  "Add a new number"  
  5. Insert the 5 digit extension of the employee you wish to forward your calls to.
  6. click save
  7. close the self care portal

For forwarding to your voicemail follow these instructions:

  1.  go to https://ucm01.tstc.edu/ucmuser/
  2. Login with your 1ID credentials (portal)
  3. once logged in click on call forwarding
  4.   Click the drop down box and select  "Voicemail"  
  5. click save
  6. close the self care portal
